Welcome to my coffee-and-tea focused blog. I’m Sam(uel): a 17 y.o. incoming senior from Chicago who enjoys a good cuppa no matter what time of day it is. Covid-19 has my anxiety going through the roof, so to remedy that in part, I decided to create a blog dedicated to the simple things I enjoy the most. Some more things to know about me:
- I’m a cat person with one cat (Berger). He’s black and white, long-haired, and most likely will appear on here.
- Still feeling the Bern. I am a left-leaning independent who left the Democratic Party after a shitshow of a primary election, and the realization that a majority of mainstream “Democrat” politicians are like Sen. Ed Markey says: “progressive in name only.”
- If you weren’t aware based on the partial tea focus of this blog, I am a proud Anglophile. I make my tea the Christopher Hitchens-approved way, with boiling water to guarantee an infusion. And yes, I have considered fleeing the States to go to London or Cambridge.
- I also enjoy music a great deal, but my taste is all over the place! Right now I’m listening to the Velvet Underground, who I believe was the best band on the planet, but I also like more modern alternative, indie, and maybe a little punk music.
